Biography
Ms. Snyder initially began her health physics career on the state government level in Pennsylvania. There, she gained experience in emergency response and the regulatory matters of compliance and radiation source licensing (1987-89. She then extended her academic background in health physics through graduate studies (1989-91). She obtained her present position with Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratories in 1991.
Ms. Snyder passed Part I of the American Board of Health Physics exam in 1992.

- Dose and risk assessment from radionuclides and hazardous chemicals
- Dose reconstruction from radioactive material exposures
- Environmental transport processes and modeling (primarily atmospheric)
- Model parameter selection and scenario development
- Criteria pollutant analyses
